DesignWeek 2023: A new look for the showroom in Nagold
The SINA anniversary sofa, a contemporary reminiscence of the legendary Addiform sofa from 1964 is added to the range with a matching coffee table and shelf for the company’s 60th anniversary and keeps its promises – Rolf Benz at its finest.
As usual, the designs are created by a series of high-quality designers. Silja and Norbert Beck designed the Rolf Benz SINA anniversary sofa, This Weber was responsible for the Rolf Benz PHIL club armchair, Sebastian Herkner conceived the Rolf Benz KIO coffee and side table, Michael Schneider designed the Rolf Benz 983 dining table, while Toan Nguyen was the creator of Rolf Benz SUNO, the new universal table for outside.
A longing for nature is consistently present and is most obvious in the latest colour schemes and living trends. The return to natural colours remains unchanged, with cream and ecru reigning supreme. However, warm, earthy tones such as Cognac and Terra are still extremely popular with Night blue and Moss green enhancing this colour palette. The latter colours contrast strongly with the more demure earthy and ecru shades whilst complementing their intrinsic naturalness at the same time.
In Rolf Benz CONTRACT, Rolf Benz is presenting a hotel room for DesignWeek 2023 that guarantees maximum living comfort and ultimate design standards for all travellers. The whole interior originates from the furniture craftsmen in Nagold. The focal point is the Rolf Benz XIAO hotel bed concept: a high-quality upholstered headboard that protectively embraces its guests. With matching side sections, it offers them a bedside table, a shelf, a comfortable seat or a relaxed corner sofa.
