Consortium of investors acquires Rolf Benz from Kuka Home. Rolf Benz is once again under German ownership as a result. For the company, this means continuity, security and joint development - Made in Germany.
This represents a new chapter in Rolf Benz’s history – one that is marked by stability, long-term thinking and a clear strategic alignment. The new owner aims to sharpen the brand, increase the company’s innovative powers, and strengthen Rolf Benz’s position so it can continue to be profitable in the long term. This will be done through “targeted investments, clear focus and possibly even strategic expansion,” explained Frank Niehage, spokesperson for the consortium and the future Chairman of the Supervisory Board for Rolf Benz, when the sales contract was signed. The transaction is expected to be completed in March.
The new shareholders bring their international experience and a long-term perspective to the table, while leaving Rolf Benz’s identity untouched. “Premium, design leadership and top quality have been our guiding principles for the past 60 years,” says Jürgen Mauß, long-term CEO who, together with Jens Hofmann, CFO, will remain on board under the new ownership. Both managers will continue to be involved in the company going forward.
The new owners are keen to create confidence and perspectives for the company’s employees. After all, the know-how, experience and passion of the workforce are the foundations of the company’s success. Consequently, the takeover expressly stands for continuity, security and joint development.
At the same time, the message to customers is clear: Rolf Benz exemplifies timeless design and long-lasting quality with its own production facilities in the north of the Black Forest and is Germany’s premium furniture brand – and will remain so in the future.
