ROLF BENZ DesignWeek 2026. Crafting a new chapter.

Nagold, 26th September 2026. There's a good reason why this year’s Rolf Benz DesignWeek bears the title “Crafting a New Chapter”. The well-established furniture manufacturer from Nagold is now owned by a German/Swiss investor consortium. Its new owners aim to further develop Rolf Benz GmbH & Co. KG strategically, to increase its innovative strength and to ensure the company remains profitable in the long-term. They are also clearly committed to Germany as a business location, with ROLF BENZ continuing to stand for premium quality, design expertise and production in the northern Black Forest. The new shareholders will be on site during DesignWeek to talk openly with retail partners and to provide insights into their strategy and roadmap for the future. The new chapter is emerging through dialogue.

The world in and around the ROLF BENZ brand is still in a state of flux and this is reflected in the colour schemes used in the showrooms in Nagold for DesignWeek 2026. Nuanced Neutrals in shades of cream, stone and grey add a sense of peace to our troubled times. Sun Baked Pigments and Amber Glow are a sight to behold - not just in autumn - with their burnt orange, terracotta and honey tones. Enriched Browns intensify this warmth further with nuances of leather, wood and chocolate, while Nourishing Greens add fresh accents from muted olive to rich forest green. The colour schemes are designed to be staged as individual pops of colour or as a full interior design scheme.

In this world of furniture, fabrics, wall colours and wallpaper, ROLF BENZ is adding several new features that incorporate the brand’s trusted quality as it embarks on this new era: the floating ROLF BENZ MAVA sofa range, the soft ROLF BENZ LENN recliner armchair and the ROLF BENZ 904 coffee table in contemporary fused glass. A special edition of the ROLF BENZ LUKE armchair and a new dream fabric for the ROLF BENZ YOKO Outdoor range are two highlights on show for the first time at DesignWeek 2026.

“Crafting a new Chapter” means more than a change of ownership at Rolf Benz GmbH & Co. KG. DesignWeek 2026 demonstrates a commitment to shaping the future together. Personal dialogue with the new shareholders represents transparency and indicates to retail partners that they are also part of this change.
