New for spring 2020: Rolf Benz JARA. Spring meets sleep.

04.05.20 Nagold. “Jara” is a girl’s name that means “lively” or “spring”. A spirit of optimism that says it all: Rolf Benz JARA is revitalising international bedroom and living rooms with a new design language. The upholstered bed that is made in Germany has a refined solid wood frame, fine decorative stitching and lots of attractive details.

Hamburg studio labsdesign has combined the charisma of solid wood with the comfort of an upholstered bed in the new Rolf Benz JARA product. Its delicate legs and narrow frame lend a light and sophisticated air to all of the materials used in Rolf Benz JARA. With a back that is angled slightly to the rear, the owners of the bed can sit up comfortably if they wish.

The front of the headboard is upholstered and has two high quality Cacharel pleats. The covered back is also stylishly defined by the central vertical wooden rail. This means that the bed can be free-standing in the room and is eminently suitable as a place to rest in open architectures – in conjunction with a transition-free master bathroom, for example.

The choice of different solid wood versions allows it to blend in with other items of furniture in the room. A wide selection of leather and fabric covers is available in the ROLF BENZ collection.

Inside the furniture
The inside of Rolf Benz JARA can meet the customer’s personal comfort requirements precisely – whether this is by means of already existing bed systems or systems from ROLF BENZ.

The new bed is available as a box spring bed with a box spring box. Alternatively, Rolf Benz JARA is also available as a classic bed with a mattress and slatted frame. It is made of beech with an adjustable mid-zone area and shoulder comfort zone.

A high quality spring core mattress and a cold foam mattress can be selected, each with firmness ratings of soft, medium or firm. Both versions have a 7-zone structure.

Flexible occasional furniture
The product enhancement Rolf Benz 914 emphasizes the elegant lightness of Rolf Benz JARA and many other interiors. The labsdesign studio has designed delicate sideboards and lowboards that can be combined with flexible compartment boxes.

They can also be positioned as a bedside table or perform other functions in the room. The carcass is available in several solid wood versions while the steel frame is painted – coordinating with many other design pieces from the emotional ROLF BENZ living environment.
